SUMMARY

Seven Strange Stories is a collection of tales that is gripping in its exploration of the margins of quotidian life concatenated with the bizarre and the fantastic. These stories incorporate elements of the supernatural or paranormal in some cases, and esoteric systems of belief in others. The collection weaves tapestries of emotional colour and fortified plots that never fail to intrigue the reader. Moreover, this collection of stories is surreal yet accessible and carries a strong sense of the stranger elements to our collective existence that is immediately available on reading.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Artists have always been the purest politicians for social/individual justice and representation. We cannot pretend we can replace, subsume or make irrelevant what Art and Creativity can achieve for the individual.

Art is inherently therapeutic- and far more. Art is courage. Art capture systems of meanings in the worlds we explore, along with their hybridized and contradictory aspects indescribable by words. It provides a platform for the margainalized and disenfranchised, when borders, buildings, bodies are to remain unbreached.

At its highest potential, it can bring one's self to a point of restitution and re-situation in the most fulfilling sense.
